Communication System for London Bridge City
Tait DMR Band III Overcomes Licence Availability Issues
The UK spectrum is heavily congested. Getting spectrum for new systems is almost impossible. The solution to this spectrum shortage is Band III. Tait is the only radio manufacturer so far with a Band III product offering in its portfolio.
For organisations looking to deploy new wide-area and campus based systems, or to upgrade existing analogue Band III systems and migrate to DMR, Tait DMR Band III offers a solution to overcoming the spectrum shortage, especially in densely populated cities like London.
Coloured Radios for Enhanced Safety
Tait two-way radios are available in black, red, orange, yellow, high-visibility green, and intrinsically safe blue. This simple design feature offers several important benefits:
- Easy Identification
If your have multiple user groups on your radio system – e.g. management, security, maintenance – having a different colour for each can prevent users being stranded with the wrong radio in their hands.
More colours are available with the Tait TP3 series radios, allowing an organisation more flexibility to personalise the radios to their requirements.
- Easy to See
For radio users working in low visibility environments finding a high-vis green radio can be much easier than finding a black radio, saving time, which could be vital in an emergency.
- Intrinsically Safe (IS)
For applications requiring intrinsically safe (IS) radios for certain locations having a designated colour for IS radios (traditionally blue) is critical to differentiating these from other radios on the fleet.

Tait TP9300 Portables
Tait TP9300 are tough portable radios for mission critical communications. Supporting multiple DMR and analogue modes, safety-enhancing features, and a rugged, robust design, the TP9300 is engineered to meet the standards of the most demanding industries.
The TP9367 (shown) is built Intrinsically Safe, i.e. made specifically for hazardous environments.
Tait TP9500 Portables
The Tait TP9500 portables offer best-in-class audio quality, using a louder, clearer speaker for incoming calls plus Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) – a powerful feature that also improves outgoing calls. Further user benefits include a bigger colour screen, enhanced worker safety tools, and Tait Tough build quality.
Tait designs and manufactures communications solutions for clients with tough jobs, who need equipment that is easy to use and totally reliable. That’s why Tait has created some of the toughest, mission critical communications solutions ever made.
Tait designed every detail of its portables to be tough, capable of surviving extreme temperatures, humidity, salt, fog, vibration, altitude and solar radiation. They are tested thoroughly and exceed the requirements of IP ratings for water and dust protection (IP 65, IP67 and IP68) and Military Standard (MIL-STD-810G).
