CSE Global acquires radio systems
UK based two-way radio systems provider Zycomm has been acquired by CSE Global (CSE) – a leading international systems integrator for advanced and innovative technology solutions in a deal which demonstrates CSE Global’s commitment to developing its presence in the UK communications market, which began with the acquisition of Chatterbox (now CSE Chatterbox) in 2019.
Zycomm supplies two-way radio communication solutions to clients across a range of sectors including security, construction and event management. It has also gained a reputation for its W3Z wireless broadband service, providing superfast internet access to rural areas in the East Midlands. As a result of the acquisition, the company will be rebranded CSE Zycomm.
Ian Sneap, Founder of Zycomm commented,
After 40 years building the business I am delighted to have found the right partner to secure the future of Zycomm.
Speaking about Zycomm, Gary Leatherby, Managing Director of CSE Chatterbox, who will also take on the role of Managing Director at CSE Zycomm, said,
Becoming part of CSE Global will enable the business to offer existing and new customers a broader range of communication solutions and the benefits of being part of a global organisation.
Roy Rowe, CEO of CSE Global, added,
The acquisition of Zycomm strengthens our presence in the UK communications market and is part of an on-going strategy to acquire profitable businesses in the communications sector and help them to grow, providing owners with the opportunity for a gradual exit strategy while remaining hands-on with their business.
CSE Global, which commenced operations in Singapore over 30 years ago, now has offices in over 20 countries. The acquisition of Zycomm Electronics Ltd is part of the company’s expansion plan for the UK. Zycomm will join CSE Chatterbox under the CSE Crosscom UK Ltd umbrella which unites CSE Global’s UK operation.
